Call our office to book your appointment, or request an appointment online. In the event we cannot honor your appointment request, our staff will contact you.
Are You a new Patient?
Highland Village Family Medicine is a membership-based MDVIP practice. New patients are welcome — learn about membership or call our office and we'll be glad to walk you through getting started.
To ensure your first visit runs smoothly, we recommend you do the following:
Sign up on the patient portal and update your personal and medical information, or complete and bring the New Patient form to your appointment. If applicable, please also complete the Consent for Treatment of a Minor.
Either send to our office in advance, or bring with you, copies of current medical records — including any recent ER visits or hospitalizations.
After Hours
As an MDVIP member, you have your physician's direct contact information - provided in your membership welcome packet, with your Annual Wellness Program materials, and on the card available in our office. This gives you after-hours access to your doctor for urgent medical needs.
If you are experiencing a medical emergency, dial 911 or go to your nearest Emergency Room.
For urgent (non-emergency) needs after hours, you may also reach us through our after-hours voicemail, which pages your physician directly. Your doctor or one of their partners will respond promptly.
Prescription Refills
The easiest way to request a routine refill is by contacting your pharmacy, which can send us a refill request directly and in many cases refills automatically. Routine refills are processed during normal weekday office hours, so please allow adequate time before you run out. We recommend requesting refills at least two business days in advance.
